Batavia PD is asked to check on a loud rooster on Vernon Avenue, Batavia.

The caller wishes to remain anonymous at this time.

The rooster is believed to belong to a resident on Vernon Avenue.

I saw a YouTube video so I put a really tight rubber band around my rooster's neck and he was barely able to croak before he croaked and then I ate him. Feathers and all.

Lots of people have "urban chickens" in Batavia. I was under the impression that having a rooster was not permitted...but we don't want a rooster anyway. We don't need more chickens, we just want eggs!

Nothing like a thoughtful neighbor with a rooster crowing loud enough to raise the dead at the crack of dawn in a city. Some people work the night shift.
