State lawmakers have been working through the weekend to try and come up with a budget deal and have so far failed to come up with one, according to the latest news reports.

Somebody in Le Roy is unhappy with something about the proposed budget and put up this sign along Route 5.

The proposed budget is $153 bil. This includes lots of things not to like including significant tax hikes and increased fees. It also includes funding for downstate efforts to be a sanctuary state . The governor is funding efforts to destroy our ability to govern ourselves by forcing us to participate in his consolidation plan. If you disagree with this , now is the time to speak up and tell your representatives to vote NO for this budget

Assemblyman Hawley has publically expressed his dislike of the current budget process. http://www.thebatavian.com/howard-b-owens/hawley-issues-budget-statemen… It's too bad he is hopelessly out numbered by the Downstate progressives in the Assembly.
On the other hand Senator Ranzenhofer was on WBEN radio program HardLine this morning... He talked and talked, and talked some more [20-30mins] and basically said NOTHING.

I say let Fidel diBlasio turn NYC into a sanctuary, and it can go to hell... it sure doesn't help Upstate... quite the opposite.
