Photos: And the snow has continued to fall

At least a foot of snow has fallen in parts of Genesee County, and in some places more, according to various weather reports. And it's still coming down. Slow and persistant.

Peter, you cry all the time. Now you cry about the plow? Really. When a plow goes by, where did you think the snow was going to go? .
For years you have said you were leaving-just go.

Sidewalk plow. There is no reason I should have to pay for this service if there is a law that says you must clear your sidewalks. On top of that, I should not have to pay once again through either sweat or gasoline to remove the snow I have already removed because the city prevented me from using my driveway.

John,
The house will be on the market this spring.

Perhaps if you took the time to work smarter Peter You'd realize that putting the snow on the other side of the driveway would keep the plow from blocking the end of your driveway. I mean come on, it doesn't take a college degree to figure that out.

I guess Peter thinks he's worthy of special consideration, after all no one else in the entire city has to do or deal with these issues like he does. Hey John how much you wanna bet that 4 years from now we'll hear the same complaints from Peter and that his house is STILL on the market. I'll shovel the end of your driveway when you get plowed in John if he does move before the 4 year mark. If he's still here then you come shovel mine LOL

is it a bet?

So Kyle, you think I should clear out my neighbors lawn while I am doing my driveway? I move snow to both sides as I use the snow blower.

Even when I was doing the neighbors' sidewalk, I still had this issue. There is no way to win than to address the city council through a public forum.

There is no reason anyone should be paying taxes for a service that they are mandated by law to perform for themselves.

Road plows aren't the issue. I knew that I would have a ton of snow in my driveway when I moved onto a 4 lane highway. It is the crappy sidewalk plow that is the problem. The sidewalk plow that never clears the sidewalk and makes it look worse than my 35 year old snowblower does. The sidewalk plow that comes 24 to 48 hours behind the end of the snow storms.

Walkability is supposed to attract people my age and younger, but in reality this town (its a poor excuse for a city) can't maintain their sidewalks in a timely fashion. They don't enforce their laws involving sidewalks. And most of the sidewalks by my house are warped by tree roots.

But you keep thinking that I am a whiner. Somehow using a public forum to complain about what your taxes are paying for is whining now. Personally I thought it was part of my first amendment rights to let the government know when they are doing a poor job of representing my interests and misusing my money.

Peter, you can and are exercising your right to complain. And Kyle and I are using our right to point out you whine about everything. While most people wish the sidewalk plow came down their street (especially the elderly and disabled and after such a heavy snow) you complain-again.

I believe that John and I were actually addressing the fact that you always say you are leaving the city or putting your house up for sale as a preface to a complaint or to punctuate the complaint when finished.

You also act like you are the only one whom has to deal with it. No one is arguing the content of your complaint nor the validity of it. just all the drama and bs added to it.
