Creek Road near Lehigh Avenue, Batavia, is closed for culvert replacement.

Even though signs warn of the closure as far back and East Road, people are still driving all the way down to the barriers, even semi-trucks, according to a Creek Road resident, who thought it might be a good idea to remind residents of the closure.

The closure started Wednesday and is expected to last for seven to 10 days.

" . . . and even though signs warn of the closure as far back and East Road . . . . " -- unless they have changed it, the only "warning" is a single sign that says road construction ahead. There's not any signs saying "road closed ahead," -- from either direction, which is exactly why people are still driving all the way to the barrier.

Matt. The sign pictured in the post does say "Road Closed".

Not being there, I suppose that could be just a "stock" picture of a Road Closed sign. Or, as you said, maybe they changed it.
