Not really surprised at the poll results, but I'm wondering why so negative?

Will the $20 still be worth $20? Ummm.....I think so. So what's the big deal?

Well I'm proud to be a Batavian from Batavia
A place where even racists can get balled ...think Mississippi
We don't like no darkies on our monies
And Genny Cream Ale is the biggest thrill of all.

Put Obama and President Hillary on the five dollar bill, one on each side,

It's about time: https://youtu.be/CsBwBct0_5U

I was surprised the Federal Reserve didn't go after Jackson first. Jackson was famously opposed to the Second Bank of the United States. Hamilton on the other hand was a strong believer in a national bank.

Hamilton was saved by a Broadway musical.

Tubman: Gun-toting, evangelical Christian Republican. You'd think she'd be a popular choice.

Perhaps the pole results have nothing to do with the race or sex of the person being placed on the $20 and it has more to do with the fact that people don't like change. That's one of the reasons why we still have a $1.00 bill, people just didn't want to give it up for the dollar coin.

Randy, come to Austin and buy a taco and a beer with a twenty, you will get no change.

So what you are saying, George, is that the cost of living is extremely high in Austin? ;-)

you will be looked at as a racist if you disagree.. i'll be damned.. I vote NO so call me what you will..... what's wrong with leaving the bill the way it is ? it's been working fine since they first started printing them.

And David, after this change, the $20 bill will still be worth $20. Imagine

Terrified of change are we? Did it freak you out when the additional coloring was added to hinder counterfeiters?

There are plenty of things more important than this to worry about.

If David is right then 67% of those who votted are afraid of change. That is an epidemic of fear. There are more important issues than to worry about than a woman's portrait placed on our currency. Far more important issues than to worry about a black woman's portrait on our currency. So, if this isn't a fear epidemic then maybe the 67% can tell us why they really are offended by replacing "trail of tears" Jackson on the 20.

Perhaps those 67% simply don't like change;simple as that.
I don't like cooked carrots in soups and stews. Raw carrots are fine. That doesn't mean I fear cooked carrots. I will eat them if I'm served them when I'm invited to someones house for dinner.

My favorite American coins are the Morgan Head Silver Dollar and the Walking Liberty Half Dollar with women on them. For all practical purposes, Harriet and Thomas will spend the same.

The Susan B Anthony dollar coin wasn't popular because it is easily mistaken for a quarter and didn't catch on. The Sacagawea Dollars are gold color and are a beautiful coin.

I hope I'm not disobeying some cardinal rule posting this, but I thought this was funny https://scontent.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/13015640_10209013614554487_696473...
