Today's Poll: Should the City of Batavia repair and maintain the pillars at Redfield Parkway?

If you vote yes, and live inside the City, are you willing to have your tax money spent on the wall? I voted yes, but I am a history buff and the wall is 105 years old, so I'd like to see it stay.

As a native Batavian, I was sad to see Urban Revewel, shortsighted as it was, to give us a Mall based on a failed business model. Urban Renewal took away the charm and character of Main St. Growing up, and an even now, my wife and I drive through the City to see the Christmas lights and on Redfield in particular, with the decorated trees in front of the houses. I'm also a history buff as well as a reenactor; French and Indian, Revolutionary and War of 1812.
I voted yes to save a piece of Batavia history, and God bless the efforts of all the people to save the pillars.
