This is a bad stretch of road. Vehicles turning onto 63 towards Batavia from East Rd have to go like heck and then brake hard to turn onto the East Bethany Le Roy rd or risk getting hit from behind.

That clusterfudge of intersections no longer works well with the heavy flow of traffic through EB. I drive through there twice every work day on my way to and from work in Rochester and it unnerves me. The north end of East Rd to the intersection at Rt 63 is always snow and ice covered.

Maybe none of this contributed to the accident but it's still a bad stretch of highway.

I live very near to where this accident occured. I travel that stretch of road a minimum of 4 times daily, sometimes 6. I agree with Doug, it is a bad stretch of highway. I cetainly have seen many accidents in that area. The worst has to be the double "S" curve through Little Canada area. How many more people have to be killed there before the D.O.T. does something about it?
