Mummy in Le Roy wants to know if you've lost a dog

By Howard B. Owens

A possibly intoxicated female in her 20s and dressed as a mummy is reportedly going door-to-door on Hilltop Drive in Le Roy and showing people a picture of a dog on her mobile phone asking people if they lost a dog.

Le Roy PD dispatched to see if there are any mummies in the neighborhood.

UPDATE 11:48 p.m.: The mummy was DOA GOA (gone on arrival). The Le Roy patrol is back in service.

Tut, tut, tut. A drunken mummy lost her dog. Her husband Pharaoh Tutankhamen isn't going to be happy about that. Hopefully the police with have the case wrapped up soon and things put to rest.

Couldn't have been a very life-like (er, death-like??) costume, if the caller could tell she was in her 20's.

And, she doesn't sound very imaginative if she's walking around with a mobile phone - She's a mummy - she should've been carrying a 'tablet'.

If I was HER mummy, I wouldn't have let her out of the house like that!
