Photo: Ghost Asylum crew and cast spotted on Jackson Street, Batavia

By Howard B. Owens

Two cast members of the SyFy Channel's Ghost Hunters "Ghost Asylum," a new show from Destination America, ham it up after filming a take for a segment of the show that will include Batavia.

Crew members couldn't discuss the details of the episode. At least one scene will be from Sweet Pea's Cupcakery Cafe on Jackson Street. I'm under the impression there are other scenes being taped at other locations in the county.

I wonder if there investigating the Rolling Hills Asylum in East Bethany? If they are i know the shows Ghost Hunters & Ghost Adventures have been there so it would be no surprise a third one may be there.

Wow thanks Howard for the link to Destination America.... I see the episode of AHaunting I was in is gonna be aired Monday @ 3pm. Some friends were asking me about that so now I can tell them. These guys are pretty good I havent seen Ghost Asylum yet but plan to.

Also Howard if you ever want to photograph the final resting place of Roy Crouse, the one "ghost:" that has made appearances at all the paranormal shows filmed at Rolling Hills, let me know. Roy is easy to discern when his spirit makes an appearance at Rolling Hills as he suffered from Giagantism and was 8' tall.

I know Lisa I was there when they filmed it. That was the same week their Season 1 DVD went on sale. They bought a few copies to give to us from our Batavia Wal-Mart. Had fun with the cashier trying to get a discount because their faces were on the DVD LOL

Fun Times back then....
