Both images are exceptional, but the top photo of the Pivot Irrigation system is beyond equal.

Exception shots Howard

Yeah, both great photos, Howard. Personally, I thought the second one, the one with the Chia Silo, was the better of the two.

That's it! The Chia Silo! I kept looking at it & knew it reminded me of something ~ thanks, Ed!

Great shots Howard. Looking forward to seeing your pics of the parade in Stafford.

"You're Welcome", Mardell.
Love the name Mardell. Only met one lovely woman with that name. From Pavilion/LeRoy.

Why thank you, Ed! However, that was YEARS ago. Oh so many years....

Was your sister, Marcia?

Yep, that was her.
See, it wasn't THAT many years ago, that you remember.
When I first saw your name, several months ago, I wondered then.
Good to re-connect, sort of.

Well, God bless her sweet soul. She was an awesome gal who's life was cut too short.. And you ~ you were very "suave" back then! LOL I'm chuckling as I type this. Oh back in the day...thanks for the blast of the past. Good times!

Thank you, Mardell (about Marcia, I mean).
Suave? I'm gonna have to look that one up, 'cause as far as I know, it is 180-degrees from what I remember from any dictionary I ever read. Now I'M the one who's chuckling!

(And we're not talking shampoo)

"suave [swɑːv]
adj
(esp of a man) displaying smoothness and sophistication in manner or attitude; urbane
[from Latin suāvis sweet]"

Unless I'm thinking of the wrong person! But I don't think so.... (smile.)

Yeah-h-h-h! Well, that's pretty much the definition I remembered from the dictionary, too.

D'ya suppose there's MORE people out there that I had fooled?

Were you there the night I won 1st prize - as the 'conehead'?
I think I had Jill Boyd almost believing I was a girl. Still laugh when I think of that night. Even Marcia had no idea it was me. Dolly had to tell her.

Have mercy ~ I don't remember you as the Cone Head ~ probably too many JD & Cokes. What year was that? Those LB&G days were the best of times. It was home away from home! I'm thinking it would have been hard to fool Jill (or your sister for that matter.) Ha ha. A tall Jane Curtain(?) Dolly...what a wonderful cook & lady! And Mr. P. Aaaah, the good times indeed.

That might've been before your time - I'm thinking, probably somewhere around 1850 or so :)
Really, though, maybe '82 or '83. Not quite sure!
Yeah, a VERY TALL J. Curtain!! I'm 6-1 and a half, and with the mask, was at least 7-foot. I wore a stove-top hat the first 2 hours, so nobody even knew it was a conehead. 'Til I took it off. - I never returned the mask to the place in Rochester - I let them keep the deposit. It was worth it. Had more fun with it for several years.
Ran into Mike P, maybe 4 years ago - Other than that, haven't seen any of them in, oh, too many years to count.

Gotta log off now. Stuff to do. Will catch you another time. Thanks for the trip thru memory lane.
Ed

Yes, a good trip thru memory lane indeed. Thanks, Ed. My yrs. at LB&G were approx. from 1980 - 1985 (give or take a few.) Wish I can turn back the hands of time... Met a TON of awesome people. Just like family! Mr. & Mrs. Piazza, Ron, Pam, John, Joe & Mike.
