Up grades to the Stadium are long over due. The added parking will make the area much safer. I would like to see even more parking added.
As for the artifical turf and multi use field. Grass takes much more maintance and they do put a lot of effort into it and it shows thats something to be proud of, you don't get that feeling from plastic. I feel bad for the first person who has to tell the Football team to get off there field for a different sport to use.
If it wasn't for football , the stadium would not be there in the first place . Now that we opened the can of worms by letting soccer and lacrosse play a couple of games there . It is now a sports faciity , football lost its most prized possesion . Nancy Viola would have never let this happen .
Ryan ,I think if the football team can't win some games and get some more people out in the stands . Then they should plow the the turf in Febuary and hold the section v wrestling tournamnet out there under the lights .
With 3.9 million dollars in upgrades, I bet the Stadium would be able to hold a Rolling Stones concert!But about the wrestling tournament, who knows? With all this talk about global warming I bet it'd be possilbe in about 5 or 6 years! But I'm all for the astro turf! Who would want the get dirt on their uniform while playing football? That's so 1920's!

why didn't they look at doing and indoor facility the cost would have been similar. Then the facility could be used all year round.
