Today's Poll: Have you or will you purchase a Mega Millions ticket for tonight's drawing?

If New York state is willing to give away millions of dollars, just think for a minute how much they pocket, not to mention taxes you pay out if you win.I would gladly purchase tickets if just once some lucky Genesee county resident would win.

yes sir, I bought 3 (so far) I am sure I won't win, but it is a cheap form of entertainment, been making all kids of plans on how to spend (invest) the winnings!

If I win I'm going to pay Howard to follow me around and document my entire life for Genesee County's reading pleasure.

You're welcome in advance.

I figured one way or another I could benefit from somebody in GC winning.

Jason, about $1 million a year should cover the cost. I'd say more, but I'm not greedy.

At a buck a game, why not? I'll play 3 or 4. I obviously don't think I've got a great chance of winning but really, what the heck, I might as well.

I didn't buy one, but one was bought for me. I guess, and the chances are nil, if I win it, I'd share it with the person who bought it.
Then....
Take care of my kids, of course.
Set up endowments for favorite charities
The rest would take care of itself.

A bit of trivia: The Mega-Millions jackpot is 640 million bucks: It would take the average American family 12,800 years to earn $640 M. It takes the US Government 1 hour and 29 minutes to spend $640 M. I would make it last a bit longer.
