Today's Poll: How would you grade Super Bowl XLVIII?

By Howard B. Owens

The game is the game, some days you are hot and on others, you wish you were. What i personally could have gone without was the inter-active chest beating of the 2 ego maniacs, Obama and O'Reilly just before it. They could have done it any other day, but then they wouldn't have such a big audience. Did anyone learn anything from that interview? Pete Carroll's post game interview was much better and more informative.

I had to give it an A. I didn't have a teamed picked out until 5 mins. before kick off. I picked the seahawks simply because they are from the same conference as the Bills.

Usually when I pick a team where there is no real importance to me, that team bombs. It's like getting into the wrong line at the grocery store. So I was able to go to bed in a good mood yesterday because the team I was rooting for won..

BTW first superbowl I've seen in at least five years.

so kevin and mark, what you are telling me is the broncos are in the AFC? lmao
I'm glad I didn't know that before I chose a team to root for. I would have opted for them and been disappointed again. and yes my interest in football is low.

From what I've been reading about concussions and lawsuits, it won't be long before pee wee and high school football is a thing of the past. want to bet New York is the first to eliminate the sport ?

You should have picked the Broncos, David, they did a pretty good impression of the Bills in their Super Bowls. I could have done without Troy Aikman reminding everyone about him winning a blow out Super Bowl.

Actually Dave, The Bills did better, they managed to score points in the first half ;;And in the first one, The Bills were winning right up to the 4th Quarter.

A little trivia: The largest margin of victory in Super Bowl History was 55-10

Here are the five biggest blowouts in Super Bowl history:

1. Super Bowl XXIV: San Francisco 55-10 over Denver

2. Super Bowl XX: Chicago 46-10 over New England

T-3. Super Bowl XLIV: Seattle 43-8 over Denver

T-3. Super Bowl XXVII: Dallas 52-17 over Buffalo

5. Super Bowl XXII: Washington 42-10 over Denver

Denver now holds the record of the most super bowl losses in general at 5

Kyle before Sunday there was a three way tie for most losses

Buffalo - Denver - Minnesota

Of the three, I think Denver is the only one NOT relieved

LOL Mark but Denver has 3 of the 5 top blowout losses to their record. At least the Bills had some close games...

I dont really follow football I am a Cleveland Browns fan by default (Thats my wife's team)

But at least Cleveland is the only NFL team to have 3 back to back undefeated seasons. :)

If your curious why I say that its because when Modell moved the original team to baltimore to create the ravens. The Browns still were in the NFL but just had no team to field. Therefore all 3 seasons they were undefeated. LOL Its a longstanding joke between a couple of friends of mine.
