Today's Poll: Should cap and trade to reduce CO2 emissions become a national program?

Cap and Trade for CO2 emissions would just put a set of handcuffs on American Industry. The UN treaty bill of several years ago, which was wisely turned down by the US Senate, was a thinly vailed attempt to transfer the wealth of the Industrial Countries to the poorer Third World Countries. This attempt reminds me of the Green Movement that was so politically correct at the beginning of the Obama Presidency. It failed at all levels and ended up costing the US taxpayer millions of dollars in failed start up companies.

As strong as the evidence is for man made effect on global warming, I cannot vote "yes" for a program that would become so large yet is relatively early in its testing.

Maybe after further results from Europe and California....
