Today's Poll: Should the Obama admin try to block marijuana legalization by states?

I am against MJ use anywhere any time. However I am absolutely against any more over reaching Federal Government interference in the individual states rights decide its own direction. Especially when it comes to a free democratic vote with in the state to go in a cetain direction. Ladies and gentilemen, we are a republic that the Federal Government works for in a free and democratic society. The growth of the Federal Government needs to stop and stop now. We are fast approaching a Socialist State of America. Think 1950's to 1980's USSR. The worst is fast approaching.
Howard-that should get things started for the day.

Mike, I can't think of anything more arrogant than trying to overturn the democratic process. Regardless of one's position on marijuana, it's very chilling to see the federal government even contemplate this kind of action. I'm surprised nearly 30 percent of our poll takers seem to think it's OK.

Yes, Mike I can believe it, which is why I don't support Republicans or Democrats. Power grabs are what they do. Obama was already interfering in Cali regarding medicinal marijuana, after stopping the Bush administration policy of doing the same exact thing. Just couldn't let it alone. Obama is no better (and in some ways worse) than both Bush's, Clinton, Reagan, Ford, Carter, Nixon et al. Imperialists and fascists all of 'em.

All the people that are against Marijuana, are the brainwashed ones that think "reefer madness" is real. They dont know how to think critically. They think that they are more capable to decide what you should and should not do, then you yourself are. Well to all you 30%'ers out there, you ever heard the phrase "different strokes for different folks" ?
Or "To each his own" Its the same reason that I like Pepsi not Coke, and brunettes over blonds. Well you like your margarita, and i like my joint. Get the Frak over it. When i try to smoke my joint in YOUR house, then you can tell me no.

Not to mention that hemp oil, which DOES NOT GET YOU HIGH, has been proven in laboratory test to inhibit the growth of abnormal cells. What are abnormal cells you say??
CANCER

Hemp oil stops cancer from growing. Yeah suck on those eggs.

Not to mention, people die from alcohol poisoning all the time. No one, EVER has EVER died from an overdose of weed. Its just not possible.
The only people ever to die from weed are the gangbangers and innocents that get shot, because something that people obviously want is illegal. Stop the illegality, and stop the violence.

You want to smoke it, smoke it. Don't drive, and don't do it in public. The only reason the Govt. is even considering gettting involved, TAXES! That all important word REVENUE. Obamafraud loves it. He can smoke it when he visits and collect more money for his unfunded mandates.

i think the feds are way too busy spying on americans, looking for terrorists to be bothered by americans smoking pot.
however i could be wrong, as all these departments of security are trying so hard to justify the job
they have.they are just a bunch of thugs, drooling at the mouth with anticipation of the assets they will
confiscate from some citizen who lights up a joint.

Well I'll tell you what.... OK OK OK.....
The feds are not dummies. Alot of people dont know this, but gay marriage is also against the law. Clinton signed into law the defence of marriage act back in the 90's. States are doing it and the feds leave them alone because when the gay men and women got married, most of the ones they showed in front of the magistrate or cleric, were nice normal looking people, almost conservative looking. No make out sessions in front of town halls and such. Now states start to legalize MJ, and people are being asses. They are flaunting it, like the rich kid with a new bike. You got pie eyed kids and adults toking up all over the place with no regard for common decencey. You better believe that other states close to or getting ready to vote for MJ use, are watching, and so is the Government. No way it goes forward as easy as gay marriage. No Way!

This issue has almost nothing to do with pot use, and everything to do with states' rights. We were founded as the United STATES of America meaning that we have individual entities that are only tied together for the few things that are mutually beneficial such as defense, language (oops), culture (oops),a monetary system, and border security (another oops).

Although Obama is not the only one to blame for the outrageous growth of an overbearing federal government, he has furthered the wrongs at a pace few of us could have imagined.

Sadly, I believe it is too late to right the ship. Government at all levels is too entrenched. Nothing short of a revolution can change our doomed course. As divided a nation as we are chances of the people pulling together to bring about change are almost nil.

In the meantime, out of what I believe to be only prudent, I buy another box of ammo every week or so should I have to defend and protect what is mine.

For the folks that took offense when I changed to my pic a couple of years ago to FUBO, are you starting to get it?
