Today's Poll: What is hurting Jane Corwin the most in the NY-26 race?

By Howard B. Owens

The entire Corwin campaign has been based on lies and half truths. Negative from the beginning and probably will get much worse in the coming days. Does anyone even know who Jane Corwin is? She's an empty vessel two weeks out.

When they set their site's on removing David Bellavia it was nothing less than scorched earth. An unbelievable disrespect for a war hero who stepped aside the first time he wanted to run out of Party loyalty and then gets treated like absolute trash the second time.

Any respectable Republican should be outraged. If this was my Party I would be hiding under a rock right now.

Exactly the reason I no longer belong to a party. I was a registered republican, so I could vote in the primaries. I no longer feel aligned with any of the political machines. I am, however, going to make it my mission to introduce David Bellavia to the Modern Whig party. He fits their platform to a tee, yet he probably doesn't even realize it exists. I personally am tired of the "status quo" on both sides of the aisle. it appears to me that most of our congressional representatives have their own agenda as a priority, versus that of their constituents. I wish i was wrong in my opinion, but I'm not. Donkey or elephant, they're all a bunch of jackasses!

Lorie, you have always had positive things to say about David Bellavia as have many other Democrats on this site, why not consider writing him in and elect a local war hero who will represent WNY well?

I supported a candidate a few years back, Jon Powers. Jon always had the highest regard for Bellavia, even though they were almost political rivals.

I support Kathy Hochul. I respect David Bellavia.

William, you won't get represented either way. Look at who is pumping money into those two campaigns. The folks dumping all that money will get represented.
