Andrei was born on March 26, 1991, in Moscow Russia. He was the adopted son of Alan Schwartzman and Jean Tyson of the Bronx and
biological son of Alexander and Natalia Abramov of Moscow.

He was a member of the student body at Genesee Community College. His interests included animal welfare, environmental issues, public safety,
country music, long walks in quiet places and spending time with his family.

Andrei graduated from Summit School in Nyack, NY and Community School in Teaneck NY.

Surviving are both adoptive parents in The Bronx, his beloved cats Fat Joe and Ebony Eyes, brother Alex Abramov Schwartzman of Virginia Beach,
sister Shelia Grey and nieces Aniya Agron and Destiny Grey of Newport News, Va, Aunts Zell Schwartzman of New York, Ruth(Art) Sabatini and
Mary Ann Hopkins of Syracuse, Elizabeth( Bill) Parke of Rutherfordton NC, Uncle Bill(Pat) Tyson of Douglasville Ga., many cousins and sister Vicky
and brother Dennis Abramov, formerly of Moscow, Russia.

Andrei is preceded in death by his Uncle Jim Tyson of Oakdale Ca., and his Schwartzman and Tyson grandparents of New York and Sayre Pa.
respectively.

Joan graduated from Watertown High School, Class of 1955. Following graduation, she attended SUNY Potsdam and was awarded a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, after which she taught kindergarten for several years. She married William B. Scott Jr. April 5, 1958, and they settled in New Hartford, NY. They moved to LeRoy, NY in 1968 and lived there until the passing of her husband, who died from cancer on August 13, 2017.  They were married for 59 years and had four children. 

Joan was an active parent with four children in the LeRoy Central School system. She advocated fiercely for resources to be available for children/students who were cognitively diverse, volunteered at the high school musicals, and was a LeRoy High School Band Mom. She was also an active member of both the LeRoy and Bergen United Methodist Churches. An avid fisherwoman, Joan could always be counted on to spread joy, share good humor, and was known for her own brand of witticisms. She was deeply caring, loved nature, especially bird watching, being up at the cabin, and her kids very much.

Surviving in addition to Joan’s companion/partner, Tom Ireland; are her son, William B. Scott III of Batavia, NY and his son, Brandon Scott of Tennessee; daughter, Suzanne E. Scott of Chicago, IL, and her husband, Hidemasa Yamakawa; son, David W. Scott of Fairport, NY, his ex-wife, Deborah B. Scott, and their two children, Nathan J. Scott and Julia R. Scott, both of Rochester, NY and son, Matthew B. Scott of Watertown, NY. She is also survived by her younger sister, Martha Leising (née Cleveland) of Webster, NY, her sisters-in-law, Peggy Cleveland of Watertown, NY, and Pam Cleveland of Tampa, FL.

A service of remembrance will be scheduled for the summer of 2024 in Sackets Harbor, NY.

Chester S. Glomb, 96 of Corfu, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 26, 2024.

Chester was born on August 31, 1927, in Buffalo, a son of the late Stanley and Mary Bialach Glomb. He was the husband of the late Jeanette Glomb; father of the late Bruce Glomb and brother of the late Peter Glomb, Estelle Puls and Jean Stull. Chester served our country with the Merchant Marines during World War II.

Chester was an avid fisherman, hunter and outdoorsman. He loved his garden, especially growing tomatoes and had a fondness for apple pie.

Chester is survived by his children, Kathleen (Lyle) Gardner, Barbara (Jim) Klimczak, Brian Glomb and Kevin (Joan) Glomb; 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Friends may call Friday, May 3, 2024 from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the C. B. Beach & Son Mortuary, Inc., 4 East Main Street Corfu, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, May 4th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 18 West Main Street, Corfu. Burial will follow in Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Corfu, NY.

  Dave was born May 24, 1949 in Seabreeze, NY to Dorothea and William Daansen. He spent his childhood on Lake Ontario in the shadow of the amusement park. From an early age, Dave’s passion was music, playing primarily trumpet in school but excelling at any instrument he picked up. 

     Dave taught himself to play guitar after he first heard Jimi Hendrix play, and the bass guitar would become the instrument for which he was known. He would also become accomplished on the drums and keyboard. After high school, Dave took his music on the road with bands such as Swift Kick, Harlot and briefly with Dokken and Ozzy Osbourne. That musical career led him to almost every state in the nation, as well as to Europe, Southeast Asia and Japan.

     After years on the road, Dave found himself back in Rochester where he met his future wife, Patty (McQuillen Panepento) and they were married in 1997. Dave continued to tour and play music in the Rochester area with Dave Donnelly, High Noon (the WBEE house band), PapaNut, the Chris Beard band and so many others, all while calling Rochester home. In 2015, an effort to be closer to family led Dave and Patty to move to LeRoy, NY where they could enjoy more family time, especially attending their grandchildren’s games and activities. Dave’s other passions were golf, baseball especially the NY Yankees and simple family times (though he never grew to understand Dungeon and Dragons despite his grandchildren’s attempts). 

     Dave is survived by a daughter, Annette (Mike Sr.) Junot and their children, Zak and Amanda Lippa, Mike Jr. and Brennan Junot, all of Rochester, and two sons, John and Jeffrey Daansen and his two children of Japan.

     Dave leaves Patty’s children, who he loved as his own: Peter (Chrissy) Panepento and their girls, Jessica (Jake) Keymel, Morgan (Fiancé Chris Elsbree) Panepento and Mary Lynn Panepento, all of Walworth, NY, Dave (Michelle) Panepento and daughter Anna, and Rob (Jill) Panepento and sons John and Jayce, all of LeRoy, NY.

     Also surviving are great-grandchildren Maddy and Riley Keymel, and Greyson Elsbree.

     Dave leaves a sister, Susan (Steve) Sander of North Carolina, and a foster-sister and brother, Lynn Connelly and Bill Bloom (Judy), both of Seabreeze, NY. Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law include Mary Lynn (McQuillen) Jacko of Pittsburgh, Pa, Steve (Sheila) McQuillen of Stafford, NY, Pete (Judy) McQuillen of LeRoy, Tim (Sue) McQuillen of Byron, NY and Amy (McQuillen) Sturm of Erie, Pa. as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

     Last but not least is his beloved dog Jack.

     Dave is pre-deceased by his parents and a brother-in-law, Terry (Tuba) McQuillen.

     Patty would like to thank the staff of Premier Genesee who showed Dave such compassion and caring especially Careesa, Kristy and Mercedes and so many others.

December 22, 1945 – April 24, 2024. Vincent Lawrence George, 78, passed away peacefully in Chicago after a long and courageous fight with lung cancer.

Vince was born in December 1945 in Batavia, NY to the late Lawrence B. and Mary Arlene George of Elba, NY. From a young age, Vince worked alongside his parents and family members at George’s Dairy, founded by Vince’s grandparents Sylvester and Mary Petz George almost 100 years ago. To this day, Genesee County residents remember George’s Dairy for its quality milk and ice cream delivered with pride by the George family. Vince discovered many of his truest passions at an early age, such as baseball, trains, westerns, eating, and teasing the people he loved, all of which he pursued vigorously the rest of his life.

Graduating salutatorian at Elba Central School in 1963, he attended St. Bonaventure University, class of 1967, majoring in accounting. In 1967, Vince was a member of the first MBA class at the University of Notre Dame, graduating in 1973. After working at Price Waterhouse in Philadelphia from 1973-78, Vince moved to Dallas to work as Tax Director for the Trammell
Crow Company, a leading commercial real estate developer. He remained at Trammell Crow the next twenty years, working various leadership positions in venture capital and finance. For the final phase of his career, Vince worked at Centex and Panattoni Development Company in Dallas.

His favorite activities with his wife, Cynthia and children, Erika and Matthew, included traveling, watching movies, relaxing at Cedar Creek Lake and planning their next meal. He was a constant presence as a school volunteer and active member of Northridge Presbyterian Church.

When not traveling the world (he and Cindy visited over 150 countries together), he loved to visit his five grandchildren in San Antonio and Chicago. In Dallas, he volunteered as an English teacher at Literacy Achieves, as well as a docent at the George W. Bush Presidential Library. A week after visiting his seventh and final continent (Antarctica) with Cindy, Vince was diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer, fighting the disease for the next fourteen months until he passed away.

Vince was predeceased by his parents, his parents-in-law, James and Shirley Johnston, and Evelyn Johnston, his brother-in-law, Dr. John C. Gessner, his sister-in-law, Susan Johnston, and his niece, Nicole Wingate. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Cynthia Jean Johnston George, daughter Erika (Blake) Romney of San Antonio, TX and son Matthew (Claire) George
of Chicago, IL, beloved grandchildren, Annie, Greyson, Ford and baby Romney (expected in August), and Shirley and Eamon George. Vince is also survived by his sisters, Elizabeth (Joseph) Ivers of Houston, TX and Margaret George of Saint Paul, MN, his brother-in-law Randy (Carolyn) Johnston of Knoxville, TN, seven nieces and nephews, aunt Shirley George
(Thomas) Edbauer of North Tonawanda, NY and numerous cousins.

Vince was one-of-a-kind in his intelligence, generosity, and goodness. We love you, and still hear your laugh.

Dolores Rose Panepinto Gaeta, 95, passed away on April 25, 2024, in Bloomfield Township, MI. Dolores was born in Batavia, NY, on December 9, 1928, the daughter of Alfred and Rose LoTempio Panepinto. After graduating from Batavia High School in 1946, she worked in retail sales, as a secretary at Sylvania’s, and as a medical transcriptionist and secretary for the social work department at the Veteran’s Hospital. After moving to Youngstown, OH, in 1968, she managed a woman’s clothing store, and served on the board of the Butler Art Gallery.

Dolores supported the arts wherever she lived, serving on committees of the Youngstown Symphony Guild in the 1970s, and the Naples Philharmonic League in the 1990s, after the Gaetas moved to Naples, FL.

Throughout her life, she supported the business ventures of her husband, Calvin, whom she married in 1948, including the Caravan Restaurant and their commercial real estate company.

Dolores was predeceased by her husband, Calvin, in 2014; by her brother, Alfred, in 1999; and by her son-in-law, Mark Erlich, in 2010. She is survived by two daughters, Pamela Gaeta and Penny Erlich; three grandchildren, Katie Emily Leibhan (Evan), Paul Gaeta Brown (Mackenzie), and Amy Gabrielle Erlich; and three great-grandchildren, Noah Stephen Leibhan, Chloe Rose Leibhan, and Brooke Lillian Brown; several nieces and nephews; and her loving companions and caregivers, the family of LaTonja Cooper, of Michigan.

Susan worked 55 years for Scotch Game Call and Angler Sports Group in Elba before retiring at age 73. She was active with the Oakfield Fire Department and Rescue Squad, past secretary and was one of their first female members and was a board member on the Oakfield Historical Society. She relished working as their maintenance person. Susan enjoyed hunting and fishing, at age she uses a 12 gauge shotgun to shoot a thanksgiving turkey competing against all men.

She is survived by her brother; Gary Sanford of Oakfield, along with several nieces and nephews.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James Earl Rowley, affectionately known as Jim, of Oakfield, NY, who left us peacefully on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at his home. Born on July 5, 1939, in Orangeville, NY, to Earl W. Rowley and Marie E. (Gillmeister) Rowley, he led a life full of passion, purpose, and love.

James graduated from Barker Central High School in 1957 and began his career as a draftsman at Lobe Pump in Gasport, NY, and then at Yale and Towne in Batavia, NY. James trained on the job in the field of digital printing and scanning technologies. He worked as an Optical Engineering Technician at the Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester, NY, retiring in 2002 after twenty-plus years of service.

James married the love of his life, Constance M. (Gould) Rowley, on November 26, 1966. Together, they created countless memories and raised two wonderful daughters, Joanne, and Jennifer.

A skilled handyman, gardener, and builder, James always had a home improvement project in progress. A skilled marksman, he enjoyed shooting sports, deer hunting, fishing, bird watching, and being out in nature.  A man of faith, James gave his time as a volunteer leader at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Medina, NY. His life was a testament to his values, and he will be remembered for his legacy of generosity, sense of humor, and dedication to family.

James leaves behind his loving spouse, Constance M. (Gould) Rowley, daughter, Joanne E. Caton-Frank (Ken Frank), granddaughters Rachel J. Caton and Emily M. Caton; daughter, Jennifer L. (Joseph Jr.) Ficcaglia, grandsons, Joseph Ficcaglia III and John Ficcalglia; sister, Jeanne (Roger) Meland; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents Earl W. Rowley and Marie E. (Gillmeister) Rowley, and sister Barbara A. Rowley.

September 10, 1962 -  April 22, 2024

Dan passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife Sue and his friends at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee following a traumatic accident.  He was in Nashville doing what he enjoyed most; exploring a new place and meeting new people.  Dan loved people.  

    Daniel James Cory was born September 10, 1962 to George and Jane Cory, joining big brother, Dennis to make a great little family of 4.  Dan was proud to be from LeRoy/Limerock.  Family history and the history of his town meant the world to him. He was the local historian among his group of friends and family. 

     Dan graduated from LeRoy HS in 1980.  He continued to keep in touch with his classmates, being a member of the reunion committees.  He loved reconnecting and reminiscing with his classmates and former teachers. 

     Dan attended Rochester Institute of Technology, receiving a certificate in Tooling and Machining from the School of Applied Industrial Studies.  He worked as a tool maker at Kodak for 25 years.  He was encouraged to become a teaching assistant at the Applied Technical Center at Monroe Community College.  He eventually became an adjunct professor, teaching the next generation of tool makers.  Dan found a passion in teaching and often said he had missed his calling. 

     In 2002, Dan met his wife Sue, the love of his life, on a blind date.  They were married in October of 2005 and have enjoyed a great life with friends and family.  Dan became a Holley Hawk, fully supporting and attending the many activities that Sue, retired MS/HS Principal, was involved in.  He loved being involved with the faculty and students of Holley. He was a very supportive and loving husband.  Dan and Sue have done a lot of traveling and were making plans to share a lot more experiences and fun together.  They lived in East Irondequoit before building their dream home in Webster in 2014. Dan was fully involved in the construction process.  His attention to detail was spectacular, researching the many items that go into the building of a new home. 

     Dan was very sociable and loved being with people.  He valued his friendships and his time “shooting the breeze” with those around him.  If you knew Dan you knew a very special man.  He loved deeply and if you were a friend, you were a friend for life.  Dan was friendly and kind.  He loved sharing an old memory or an old story.   

     Family was very important to Dan.  He valued the time that he got to spend with them.  He supported them through the good times as well as through the tough times. 

     Dan is survived by his wife, Susan Cory (Menga).  His mother, Jane Cory, currently living at Heather Heights Assisted Living in Pittsford.  He is also survived by many other relatives and close friends who are family.

     Dan was predeceased by his Father, George Cory, his brother, Dennis Cory, and beloved Aunts, Marie Costa and Minnie Cory. 

     Please join us in a celebration of Dan’s life. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St. Peter’s Church, 44 Lake St., LeRoy, NY on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 11:00 AM.  Following the mass the family invites you to join us at Alleyway, 3154 State Street, Caledonia, NY, for lunch and to make a toast (or two) to our husband, son and friend.

  She was born September 25, 1961 in Buffalo, a daughter of the late James and Pearl Czerniewski Kingsley.

     Deb will be remembered for her love of family, friends and animals of all kinds. She was a 24 plus year devoted employee of TOPS Market in Warsaw.  She enjoyed reading books, cross stitching, needlepoint, along with watching and feeding “her” birds.

     She will be sadly missed by her two loving and devoted best friends, her husband of almost 40 years, Daniel Heale and her daughter, Nicole Heale.  She is also survived by her brother, Keith (Judy) Pringle; mother-in-law, Dorothy Young; step-mother-in-law, Gail Heale; sisters-in-law, Deb Odom and Donna Barnes, along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

     In addition to her parents, Deb was predeceased by her brothers, Ernest Hepp and Gordon “Corky” Pringle and her special canine companion, Cobain.
