Helen A. Rybak, 98, of Batavia passed away on Friday April 1, 2016 at the Genesee County Nursing Home in Batavia.  She was born on March13, 1918 in Perry to the late Anthony & Veronica (Zelik) Swider. She is predeceased by her husband Matthew M. Rybak and a brother Zygmund Swider

She is survived by her son Daniel A. (Lorraine) Rybak of Williamsville; nieces, nephews and cousins; sister in law Theresa Swider of Massachusetts.
 
Helen was a lifelong resident of Perry, NY.  She worked for many years at the Perry Knitting Mill and Champion Products.  She was a member of Silver Lake Country Club, loved spending her winters in Florida. She was a member of St. Isidore’s Parish (St. Stanislaus Kostka). Helen was an Avid sports fan, specifically Notre Dame, the Buffalo Bills and New York Yankees.
 
There will be no prior calling hours.  A 11:00AM Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday April 6, 2016 at St. Isidore’s Catholic Parish (St. Joseph’s Church) 8 Park St., Perry, NY 14530.  She will be laid to rest in St. Stanislaus Cemetery Perry, NY 14530.
