Alexander - Mrs. Joan L. Dwyer, age 61, of Alexander, who loved spending time with her grandchildren, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2010 at her home.
Mrs. Dwyer was born December 2, 1948, in Dansville, a daughter of the late James and Maude Dann Dwyer.
She is survived by her longtime companion, Edward Woodrich of Alexander; two sons, Daniel Leiston of Batavia and John (Crystal) Leiston, Jr. of Alexander; a daughter, Alison Leiston of Basom; two brothers, James (Donna) Dwyer of Oakfield and Brian (Kathy) Dwyer of Oklahoma; five sisters, Cynthia (Richard) Brinkman of Elba, Colleen (Dwight) Porter of Missouri, Leslie Veeley of Oklahoma, Sharon Anzalone of Oakfield and Carline Kruchten of Mount Morris; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 10 to 12 p.m. Friday at the Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, 11 Maple Avenue where a prayer service will be held at 12 p.m. Memorials may be made to the family. Condolences may be made at burdettandsanford.com.
