Beulah A. Burrows

Beulah A. Burrows, of Stafford­, NY passed on August 7th, 2016 at the age of 94 surrounded by her loving family, at the Eastside Nursing Home in Warsaw. Beulah was born on September 10, 1921 in Pike, NY to Stanley and Bessie (Davis) Waite. She is predeceased by her husband Paul A. Burrows her longtime companion Herb McCaffery, (Luke’s Companion Betty Palmer), sons in law Douglas Ernst and Albert Lyons, her siblings Elsie (Wayne) Pendergast, Geraldine (Willis) Hopkins, Velma (Howard) Cleveland, Norman & Elmer Waite. She is survived by her daughter Ellen Lyons, of LeRoy, son Paul “Luke” Burrows of Warsaw, 4 Grandchildren Lance Burrows of Japan, Leonard Burrows of California, Larry (Tawnee) Burrows of Texas, and Jason Ernst of Stafford, 4 great grandchildren and the McCaffery grandchildren, sisters in law; Dorothy Waite Kelly, Julia Waite Straub & Mary Burrows. 
She retired from the Batavia VA in 1987. Beulah had a zest for life. She enjoyed dancing, traveling, and wintered in Texas and Florida for many years. She enjoyed storytelling and having fun with her family and friends. Her favorite place and fondest memories will always be the time she spent on her “Pike Island” in The Thousand Islands. 
Friends and family may call on Thursday 4­-7PM at the Cameron Brady & Steuber Funeral Home Funeral, 111 Wolcott St., LeRoy where her Funeral service will be held at 10AM Friday. Interment at Machpelah Cemetery LeRoy.
