Rochester - Walter E. Stroh, 63, of Rochester, formerly of Batavia, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at The Shorewinds, in Rochester.
Mr. Stroh was born June 15, 1953 in Batavia, the son of the late Everett and Jane Wolan Stroh.
Walter loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, trapping and was an avid fisherman. He studied packaging science at Genesee Community College in Batavia and studied engineering at Rochester Institute of Technology.
Survivors include his sister, Cynthia Stroh of Astoria.
Friends may call on Monday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main St., Batavia, where funeral services will follow at 12 p.m. He will be laid to rest in Grand View Cemetery, Batavia.
