Enrico C. "Ed" or "Jr." Nanni, Jr.

Oakfield - Enrico C. "Ed” or “Jr.," Nanni, Jr., 71, of Oakfield, the owner of the former Ed Nanni Plumbing and Heating in Batavia and Oakfield and a maintenance supervisor at Best Western in Batavia, died Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Strong Memorial Hospital, in Rochester.

Mr. Nanni, was born August 10, 1938 in Batavia, a son of the late Enrico and Filomena (DiNofrio) Nanni.

He honorably served with the Army and enjoyed hunting fishing and camping.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy (Penders) Nanni, whom he married May 6, 1989; 5 children, Raymond (Dr. Susan Knight) Nanni of TN, Teri (Scott) Boring, Jason Nanni, Ashley Nanni and Joshua Nanni, all of Oakfield; 9 Grandchildren, Allan Whitcroft, Jr., Jennifer Whitcroft, James Whitcroft, Laura Whitcroft, Megan Boring, Michael Boring, Samantha Boring, Ryan Nanni and Kayla Nanni; a brother, Ugo (Betty) Nanni of FL; a sister, Dora (Robert) Genesky of Oakfield, brothers-in law and sisters-in-law, Lois Nanni, Marian Nanni, Terry (Catrina) Penders, Lynn (Gerry) Sanders, Kathy (Don) Park and Wayne (Jen) Ellis; several nieces and nephews. 

He was the brother of the late Arthur Nanni, Edmund Nanni, Eugene Nanni and Bruno Nanni.

Friends may call on Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 12 to 2 p.m. at Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, 11 Maple Avenue, Oakfield, where services will immediately follow at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
