Justin M. Dickes

Oakfield - Mr. Justin M. Dickes, 21, of Oakfield, cooker mechanic at Allen's Inc. in Oakfield, died Thursday, August 12, 2010at United Memorial Medical Center as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on Judge Road in the town of Oakfield.

Justin was born February 2, 1989 in Batavia, a son of Michael Dickes of Oakfield and Lori Ann Ridder (Ken) Hawes of Basom.

A 2009 graduate of Oakfield Alabama High School, Justin loved playing hockey, was a fan of the Buffalo Sabres and belonged to a roller hockey league in Batavia. He enjoyed video games, drawing, writing poems, the Three Stooges, Dave Chapell, riding his motorcycle and was an avid coin collector.

He loved all kinds of music, attending many concerts and loved to play guitar. He thoroughly enjoyed life and would help anyone out at anytime. Justin will also be missed by his cats, Taz and Scooter.

Surviving along with his parents and step-father is his brother, Nathan Dickes of Oakfield; his step-brother, Kenny Hawes who is stationed with the U.S. Army in Germany; his step-sister, Alicia Hawes of Basom; a cousin, P.J. Wieclaw of Oakfield; his girlfriend, Elizabeth Campfield of Oakfield; his grandmothers,  Frances (late Gary) Dickes of Batavia and Diane (late Douglas) Ridder of Medina; great-grandmother, Pearl Campbell of Batavia; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call on Monday from 10 to 12 p.m. at the Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, 11 Maple Avenue, Oakfield, where services will follow at 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Burial will be in St. Cecilia's Cemetery.
