Dorothy Alice Miller, 76, of Batavia died Friday (August 13, 2010) at United Memorial Medical Center after a brief illness.

She was born in Java, NY on April 25, 1934, a daughter of the late William and Mabel Niver Rosborough.

She was the wife of the late LaVerne Miller.

Mrs. Miller was a cat lover and was retired from General Motors, Rochester Products in Rochester.

Surviving is a daughter and son in law, Debbie and Frederick Gravetter of Brockport.  Two sons and a daughter in law: Duane and Jennifer Miller of Attica  and David Miller of FL.  Seven grandchildren: Shannon and Ericka Miller, Dylan Teller, Megan Burke, Melissa (Nicolo) Monachino, Justin Gravetter, David Miller and Elisha Townsend.   Two sisters: Ruth Miller of Batavia and Mary Rose Silliman of Corfu.  A brother, William Rosborough Jr. of Batavia.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Family and friends may call Monday from 2 - 4 PM at the J. LEONARD MCANDREW FUNERAL HOME, 2 BOGUE AVE., BATAVIA, where services will immediately follow.

Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450.
