David J. Cygan

David was born in Warsaw on March 14, 1942. A son of the late John A. Cygan and Jane Schumacher Cygan of Perry. Mr. Cygan retired from the Union Laborers Local 435 in Rochester after 30 years of employment.He was a member of the Perry VFW, Vets Club, Dom Polski’s and the Silver Lake Sportmen’s Club, he enjoyed motorcycle riding, and hunting.

Survived by his children: John Cygan of Castile, Jeffrey Cygan of Perry, Melissa (Greg) Becker of Buffalo, and Jennifer Cygan of Pike, a sister: Donna (Doug) Austin of Mims, Fla., a brother: Anthony “Skeeter” (Patricia) Cygan of Willis, Tx., grandchildren: Cassidy Cygan, Tonya Cygan, Jessica Cygan, Katelyn Becker, Liam Becker, and Joslyn McMurtry, along with several nieces and nephews also survive. He is preceded in death by a brother: Daniel Cygan.
