MRS. ERMA MAXWELL

Alabama - Mrs. Erma Maxwell, 82, a retired school bus driver for 28 years at Oakfield-Alabama Central School, died Monday, August 30, 2010 at United Memorial Medical Center, in Batavia following a brief illness.

Mrs. Maxwell was born November 12, 1927 in Alabama, the daughter of the late Earl and Mary (Rein) Hall.

She was a member of the Alabama-Basom Methodist Church; a wedding photographer for many years and loved spending time with family and friends. Her favorite pastime was solving jigsaw puzzles.

Her husband, Glen (Rusty) Maxwell died 2006.

Survivors include two sisters, Nina Hall of Batavia and Ruth (Earl) Geer of Alexander and two sisters-in-law, Jane Hall and Verna Hall, both of Basom and nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was the sister of the late Lloyd and Everett Hall.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the Alabama Cemetery. Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the Alabama - Basom United Methodist Church, 1392 Church St., Alabama. Memorials may be made to Alabama Fire Department, P.O.
