Bruce "Bucky" Lischer

Bruce "Bucky" Lischer, 68 of Perry died September 3, 2010 peacefully at his home. Mr. Lischer was born in Buffalo, New York on May 8, 1942 a son of the late Donald and Norma J. Flemming Lischer. He owned and operated Brockport Lumber Co. in Brockport from 1961-1997. Bucky was a member of the Silver Lake Country Club, Brockport Lyons Club, Brockport Rotary Club, Bridge Club in Brockport, and the Hoo-Hoo International Fraternal Order of Lumbermen, a former member of the Stafford Country Club and Brockport Fire Department. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing and was an avid card player.

Bucky is survived by Wife Gabrielle “Gabi” Fiabane Lischer whom he married on November 4, 1972; sons Terry (Teresa) Lischer of Livonia; Rick (Lori) Lischer of Brockport; daughters Chantal J. Lischer of Rochester; Laurie L. Lischer of Mansfield, MA; brother Mick (Andi) Lischer of Buffalo; sister-in-law: Joelle Lischer of Buffalo; 5 grandchildren Kendall Conti, Chelsea Randall, Caitlin Lischer, Troy Lischer. and Tim Lischer along with beloved pet MoMo. He is preceded in death by a brother Donald Lischer who died in 2008.

Friends may call on Friday September 10th from 4-8 pm at Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main St. Perry, NY 14530. Funeral Services will take place on Saturday September 11th at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo.
