Batavia - Mr. Charles J. Fiorentino, Jr., 57, of Batavia, died Thursday, September 30, 2010at the Genesee County Nursing Home.
Mr. Fiorentino was born March 7, 1953 in Batavia, the son of the late Charles J. Sr. and Mary Pcionek Fiorentino.
An avid sports lover, Mr. Fiorentino coached basketball and baseball for many years and assisted in running sports clinics. He was a history and car enthusiast and kept statistics for Elba sports for many years.
Surviving are his sister, Diane Fiorentino of Batavia; his nephew, Chris (Jennifer) Juliano of Batavia; his great-niece, Alyssa Juliano of Batavia; an aunt, Theresa Hartman of Attica and his godmother, Sister Joan Sobala of Rochester.
Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bohm-Calarco-Smith Funeral Home, 308 East Main Street, Batavia, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday.
