LILLIAN L. WILSON

Batavia- Lillian L. Wilson, age 93, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Batavia Nursing Home where she had been a resident for the past four years.

She was born on July 15, 1917 in Hardinville, Illinois a daughter of the late John and Daisy (Shipman) Higgins.

On June 11, 1937, Lillian married Walter Wilson in Hardinville, Illinois. They were married 55 years before Walter's death in 1995.

Surviving are a daughter Jacqueline and a son-in-law Kenneth Witt of Batavia; a sister Pat Butcher and a brother-in-law Bob Butcher of Robinson, Illinois, three grandsons and their wives, 6 great grand children, 2 nieces, and 2 nephews.

Lillian was pre-deceased by two brothers John Junior and Harold Higgins.

There are no prior calling hours. Funeral services will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 23 North Main, Elba on Saturday, October 30th at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Elba First Presbyterian Church of Elba, 23 North Main Street, Elba, New York 14058.
