Mary A. Hamman, 83 of Batavia, NY. Died October 30, 2010 peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. Born March 23, 1927 in Akron, OH to the late Martin P. (Willamena Leuders) Gallagher. Mrs. Hamman worked for 50 years at Chapin Manufacturing in Batavia. She loved to bowl, play bingo and watch baseball. She is preceded in death by a daughter Laura Kunes (1965) and a sister Loveda Hall. 
 
She is survived by sons Frank Hamman of Las Vegas, NV; Martin (Carol) Kunes of Bennington; daughters Frances (Jerry) Robinson of York, SC; Carol (Terry) Harder of Attica; sister Shirley Chimino of Batavia; 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren survive along with several nieces and nephews. 
 
Friends are invited to call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM on Tuesday November 2, 2010 at the Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc. 329-333 W. Main St. Batavia, NY 14020. 11:00 AM funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 3, 2010 at the Funeral Home. Interment will take place in Elmwood Cemetery, Batavia, NY.
