   Richard E. Hunt, 85 of Rochester, NY died November 10, 2010 in Monroe Community Hospital in Rochester. Born January 5, 1925 in Batavia, NY. Son of the late George  and Kathleen (Weeks) Hunt Sr. Mr. Hunt worked for many years at George Smith Motors and Batavia Downs. He is a WWII Navy Veteran, member of the American Legion and a longtime member of St. Mary’s Church. He is preceded in death by his wife Harriet (Boucher) Hunt; daughter Michelle E. Marchese; brothers George Jr., Charles and Fred Hunt; sisters Jean Twardowski and Kathleen Chaddick. 
 
He is survived by son Richard (Kathy) Hunt of Spencerport; daughters Sharon (Richard) Graham of Chili; Diane Rohner of SC; Peggy (Richard) Graf of Derby; son-in-law Peter Marchese of Corning; sister-in-law Mary Bolenda of Batavia; 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren survive along with many nieces and nephews. 
 
Friends are invited to call from 4 to 7 PM on Sunday November 14, 2010 at the Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc. 329-333 W. Main St. Batavia, NY 14020. Prayers will be recited 11:30 AM on Monday November 15, 2010 at the Funeral Home followed by a 12:00 Noon Mass of Christian Burial at Resurrection Parish-St. Mary’s Church 18 Ellicott St. Batavia, NY 14020. Interment with military honors will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Batavia, NY.
