Mildred R. (Falco) DellaPenna, 96 of Batavia, NY died November 12, 2010 in United Memorial Medical Center. She was born March 5, 1914 in Batavia, NY. Daughter of the late Anthony (Angela Maria Paolino) DiFalco. Mrs. DellaPenna was a member of Resurrection Parish. She graduated from Batavia High School and attended the Rochester Business Institute. She is preceded in death by husband Thomas DellaPenna, step-daughter Rosemary Donald, brothers John, Joseph, Sebastian and Nicholas Falco.
She is survived by her step sons Peter DellaPenna, Rocco (Georgine) DellaPenna and John DellaPenna all of Batavia, step-daughter Madeline Ferris of Batavia; step-daughter-in-law Judy DellaPenna and sister-in-law Valerie Falco of Batavia. Nephews John (Sharon) Falco of Webster, Thomas Falco of Rochester; niece Ann M. Falco of Batavia; 11 step-grandchildren, 15 step-great-grandchildren, survive along with great nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be no prior calling hours. Friends are invited to join the family for a 9:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial on Monday November 15, 2010 at Resurrection Parish (St. Joseph’s site) 303 East Main St. Batavia, NY 14020. Entombment will take place in St. Joseph’s Mausoleum in Batavia.
