Mr. Raymond L. Duckworth

West Valley - Mr. Raymond L. Duckworth, 80, of West Valley, NY, formerly of Batavia, a retired employee of Strippit Industry in Akron, died November 12, 2010at Buffalo General Hospital.
Mr. Duckworth was born August 25, 1930 in Attica, the son of the late Lee Roy and Ethel  (Whitcomb) Duckworth.
He served during Korean War with the US Army. He was awarded the Purple Heart and the Distinguished Service Cross while serving in Korea.
 Survivors include one daughter, Debbie (Jason) Cole of West Valley; three sisters, Irene Duckworth and Arlene (Robert) Demarest both of Batavia and Carol (Frank) Aquino of Elba, 2 Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother-in-law of Olive Duckworth, Ruth Duckworth, Betty Duckworth, Elsie Duckworth and Bill Snyder.
Mr. Duckworth was the brother of the late Cleta Davis, Oma Reddick, Clara Snyder, Carl, Ida, Harold, Willard, Paul and Howard Duckwoth.
Services will be at 11:30 AM, Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at First Baptist Church of Batavia, 306 E. Main St. Burial will be in Mt.
