VIOLA MAE LYONS

Batavia - Mrs. Viola Mae Lyons, 97, of Batavia, a line worker at Snyder’s in Albion, died Monday, January 10, 2011at United Memorial Medical Center, in Batavia.

Mrs. Lyons was born April 5, 1913 in Albion, a daughter of the late Clement and Ida Allis.

She will be remembered as a hard worker who enjoyed baking pies, cakes, and bread for her family.
 
Survivors include three sons, Chester (Mary Lew) Lyons of Delevan, Richard (Tanya) Lyons of Wellsville and Franklin Lyons of Phoenix, Arizona; a daughter, Evelyn Lyons of Los Angeles, California; a sister, Edna Cusimano of Albion, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.    
 
Friends may call on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Bohm-Calarco-Smith Funeral Home, 308 East Main Street, Batavia, where services will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery, Albion.
