Ronald E. McCracken

Bergen - Mr. Ronald E. McCracken, 74, of Bergen, died Tuesday, (January 18, 2011) at Highland Hospital, in Rochester.
 
Mr. McCracken was born June 26, 1936 in York, a son of the late George H. and Katherine M. (Dyke) McCracken.
 
Mr. McCracken was a member of Grace Baptist Church and was a laborer with Rochester Laborers Local 435. Throughout his life, he was involved with three different church building programs. Mr. McCracken was passionate about his girls and loved his Savior. He was a fan of the Buffalo Bills, Batavia Muckdogs and people loved his hugs.
 
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Beverley(Fee) McCracken; five daughters, Patricia Davis of Batavia, Cathleen McCracken of Pavilion, Sheryl (Paul) Gordon of Portsmouth, Virginia, Lori (Mark) Woodruff of Batavia and Lisa Barringer of Batavia; six granddaughters, Danielle Barber, Stephanie Barber, Emilie Barber, Elizabeth Woodruff, Rebecca Woodruff and Michaella Barringer; two great-granddaughters, Lilya and Niveah Kotmel; a brother, Roy (Marilyn) McCracken of Barefoot Bay, Florida; two sisters, Valeria (Bill) Phillips of Penn Yan and Linda (Bill) Lubanski of York; a sister-in-law, Ruth McCracken of Batavia and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. McCracken is predeceased by a brother, Jerald A. McCracken, a son-in-law, Daryl Lee Davis and his in-laws, Albert and Dorotha Fee. 
 
Calling hours are Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Grace Baptist Church, 238 Vine Street, Batavia, where services will be at 11:00 a.m. also on Friday. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, York.
