Nicholas F. "Nick" DiFalco

Nicholas F. “Nick” DiFalco, 75 of Batavia. Died March 19, 2011 peacefully at the Crossroads House in Batavia. Born May 5, 1935 in Batavia, NY. He is son of the late Nicholas (Louise Battelini) DiFalco. Mr. DiFalco was a devote Catholic and attended Mass daily at St. Mary’s Church in Batavia. He was a United States Army Veteran having served from 1955-1957. Nick worked for many years at GTE Sylvania here in Batavia. He was an avid New York Yankee Fan who loved golf, sports, his dog Sara, and meeting with his dear friends for coffee. Nick is preceded in death by brothers Dominick and James DiFalco; sister Constance Pittinaro.     
                                                                                                                        
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Mary Ann (Ziccardi) DiFalco of Batavia along with his beloved nieces and nephews.      

Friends may call from 4 to 8 PM on Monday March 21, 2011 at the Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc. 329-333 West Main St. Batavia, NY 14020. Prayers will be recited 9:00 AM on Tuesday March 22, 2011 at the Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 9:30 AM at Resurrection Parish-St. Mary’s Church 18 Ellicott St. Batavia, NY 14020. Entombment will take place at St. Joseph’s Mausoleum, Batavia.
