Mary Beth LaVare

LeRoy - Mary Beth LaVare, 53, of LeRoy, died on Monday (April 17, 2017) at Strong Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 25, 1963 in Batavia, a daughter of the late Charles Douglas and Marguerite (Johnson) Laird.

Throughout Mary Beth’s whole life dealing with her illness, she was a fighter.

Survivors include her husband, Rick LaVare of LeRoy; one son, Joseph (Kimberley) LaVare of Williamsville; one daughter, Kelsey LaVare of LeRoy; two grandsons, Blake LaVare and Bertram LaVare; three brothers, Thomas (Kathy) Laird of Fort Pierce, FL, Kenneth Laird of East Bethany and Douglas Laird of Pennsylvania; two sisters, Catherine (William) Plaisted of Clifton Springs and Nancy (Dale) Thompson of Stafford and several nieces and nephews.

Mary Beth is predeceased by twin daughters, Jill and Rebecca LaVare.

Calling hours are Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Bohm-Calarco-Smith Funeral Home, 308 East Main Street, Batavia, where services will be held at 2:00 p.m. also on Saturday.  Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, 315 Alberta Drive, Amherst, NY 14226 or online at http://www.diabetes.org.
