Joseph A. Hale, 35 of Buffalo, formerly of Batavia. Died July 1, 2011 at Erie County Medical Center. Born August 23, 1975 in Buffalo, New York to Lawrence (Sandra Ficarella) Hale Sr. of Batavia. Mr. Hale worked at Derrick Corp in Buffalo as a purchaser.  He was a former member of St. Joseph Church and was a Babe Ruth Baseball coach for many years in Batavia.  Mr. Hale was an avid hunter and Boston Red Sox fan.

He is survived by his wife Dana (Dmoch) Hale and son Dominic Hale of Buffalo; brother Lawrence (Diane) Hale Jr., sister Stephanie (Edward) King both of Batavia; along with several aunts, uncles, 7 nephews and many cousins also survive.

There will be no prior calling hours. A memorial Mass will be held on Friday July 8, 2011 at 9:30 AM at Resurrection Parish-St. Joseph’s Church 303 East Main St. Batavia, NY 14020. Interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Batavia.
