Charles L. Winter

Charles was born in Warsaw, NY a son of the late Kenneth and Amy Wellman Winter. He was a graduate of Perry High School, he was a self employed dairy farmer his entire life and was a former Town of Perry Assessor. He was a member of the LaGrange Baptist Church, Dairylea Cooperative Inc. and the Grange. Mr. Winter is preceded in death by his first wife Mildred (Yunker) Winter, and a sister Lois Griffith.

He is survived by his loving wife Betty (Habkirk) Winter; daughter Charlotte Hewitt of Schenectady; sons Curtis (Virginia) Winter; Clayton (Paula) Winter both of Perry; step-children Tracy (Fred) Goebel of Kitty Hawk, NC; Mg. Scott (Laurie) Holden of Kempner, TX; sister Maryanne (Lee) Close of Avon; brother Gerald (Etta) Winter of Perry, loved by 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call on Saturday July 16th and Sunday July 17th from 3-7pm at Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main Street Perry, NY 14530. 1:00 PM Funeral Services will be held on Monday July 18th at the funeral home. Interment at LaGrange Cemetery in Pavilion.
