Jane E. Satter

Jane E. Satter, 89, of Perry, died September 8, 2011 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw. She was born in Silver Springs on February 8, 1922 to the late Ralph (Mary Hume) Mullin.

Jane worked as a tax collector for the Town of Covington, in the cafeteria at Pavilion Central School, and she was happiest at home as a homemaker. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Covington, UMW-United Methodist Women, and the Ladies Home Bureau.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the caregivers that she has had over the years.

She is preceded in death by her husband Melvin J. Satter (2008); brother Kenneth Sherwood; sisters Margaret Hildreth and Shirley Baker. She is survived by: her daughters Judith (William) Barrett of Covington; Betty (Tom Sylvester) Parker of Perry; Mary (John) Mooney of North Richland Hills, Texas; brother Ralph (Sharlie) Mullin of Arcade; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday September 12, 2011 at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home. Funeral Services will take place 2 p.m. on Tuesday September 13, 2011 at the funeral home.

Interment will take place in Mt. Ash Cemetery, Covington.
