Stanley J. Myka

Stanley J. Myka, 64 of Akron died August 20, 2012 at the United Memorial Medical Center. He was born November 15, 1947 in Buffalo to the late Stanley Myka and the late Ursula Banks. Mr. Myka worked as a Nuclear Power Instrument Technician for Givoo Consultants. He is a United States Army Veteran and member of VFW Post 3180 and the L.L. Tillman Post #900 American Legion in Akron, NY. He is preceded in death by a brother John Buczek.

He is survived by his children Eric Myka of Oakfield; Rachel Gleason of Akron; granddaughters Angel Myka, Maelynn Gleason; brothers James Henzler, Clayton LaForme, Mel LaForme, Dan Buczek; sisters Cynthia LaForme, Sueann Myka, along with numerous nieces and nephews. 

Friends may call from 11 AM to 1 PM on Saturday August 25, 2012 at Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc., 329-333 West Main Street Batavia, New York 14020. Will follow calling hours at 1:00 PM Saturday August 25, 2012 at the Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Evergreen Lawn Cemetery in Akron.
