Rebecca M. Calarco

Mrs. Rebecca M. Calarco, 64, of Byron, a retired X-ray Technician at the Rochester VA Hospital, died Monday (July 29, 2013) at home.

Mrs. Calarco was born August 21, 1948 in Nunda, NY, a daughter of the late Ralph G. and Stella (Mallaber) Myers.

A devoted wife, mother and grandmother Becky loved spending time with her family.  She enjoyed camping, knitting and crocheting.

She is survived by her husband, James P. Calarco, whom she married June 27, 1970; one son, James P. (Kim) Calarco, Jr. of Buffalo; one daughter, Amy (Thomas) Enderle of Brockport; three brothers, James (Geri) Myers of Nunda, Ralph D. Myers of Caledonia and John A. Myers of Dalton; three sisters, Linda (Ted) Saunders of Virginia, Christine (Kevin) Shanahan of Florida and Susan (Bruce Merle) Myers of Dansville. She was grandmother of  Mya, Ava, Ethan and  Michael.  Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. 

She is the sister of the late Debbie Wiltfong.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 E. Main St., Batavia. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, August 1st at 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St. Brigid’s Church, 18 Gibson St., Bergen.  Burial will be in Byron Cemetery, Byron.
