Esther E. Brudz

Esther E. Brudz, 80 of Darien, passed away on Monday September 16, 2013 at the Batavia Nursing Home. She was born on April 16, 1933 in Buffalo to the late Andrew (Elizabeth Makowski) Glowniak. Esther completed her Interior Design Course at the Chicago Institute of Interior Design and retired as a self employed Interior Designer. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Council in Darien. She enjoyed traveling, playing Euchre and most of all spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by a daughter Betty Jane; sisters Clara Witkowski; Irene (Gerald) Gach; brothers William (Sophia) Glowniak; Henry (Cecilia) Glowniak.

Mrs. Brudz is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years Joseph Brudz of Darien; sons Mark (Colleen) Brudz of Batavia; Timothy (Rita) Brudz of Attica; daughter Amy (Edward) Wenck of Indianapolis, IN; six grandchildren, along with several cousins, nieces and nephews. 

There will be no prior calling hours. An 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday September 27, 2013 at Our Lady-Good Council Church 10677 Alleghany Rd, Darien Center, NY 14040. Interment will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Buffalo.
