Frank J. Voll, Jr.

Frank J. Voll, Jr., 66 of Akron, died peacefully Saturday morning (November 2, 2013) at his residence while under hospice care.

He was born in Buffalo, NY on January 23, 1947, a son of the late Frank J. Voll and Dorothy McIntyre Voll of Clarence, NY.

Frank was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.  He was formerly employed by Eastman Machine Company in Buffalo for over 22 years, starting as a mechanical engineer and later becoming Vice President of Operations.  Frank later moved on to work for Delphi where he retired in 2012.  He also was a member of the L.L. Tillman American Legion Post #900 in Akron.

Surviving is his loving wife of 44 years, Christine Wolters Voll of Akron.  Daughter, Wendy (Josh) Schadt of Middleport. Son, Raymond Voll.  Grandchildren, Andrew Seguin and Aaron Schadt, Collin and Katty Voll.  Brother James Voll of Ransomville.

There will be no prior visitation.  Family and friends may gather for a memorial service on Saturday, November 9th, 11am at High Point Church, 1163 Main Rd., Corfu, NY, where full military honors will follow the service.
