Chelsie Jo-Marie Simonds

Chelsie Jo-Marie Simonds, 25, of Batavia, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday (October 7, 2017) at her home in Batavia.

Chelsie was born May 24, 1992 in Warsaw, the daughter of Jane Hulbert Simonds of Batavia and Emmett Greene Sr. of Buffalo.

Chelsie loved spending time with her son Hunter and to sing and dance.  She is a CNA who truly enjoyed her job and caring for her patients. She will be remembered for being a country girl at heart.

Surviving along with her parents are her son, Hunter Sachanowski of Batavia; one brother, James (fiancée Crystal Smith) Simonds of Fort Fairfield, Maine; two half-brothers, Emmett Greene Jr. of Cocoa Beach, Florida and David Greene of Idaho; one half-sister, Rosina Jones of Rochester and one niece, two nephews, two aunts, two uncles and several cousins.

Chelsie is predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Gerald and Betty Hulbert Sr., two aunts and four uncles.  

Calling hours are Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main St., Batavia, where services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.  Chelsie will be laid to rest in Prospect Hill, Perry Center.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
