Viola G. Kozak

Viola G. Kozak, 94, of Perry passed away on Monday October 13, 2014 at the Wyoming County Nursing Facility in Warsaw. She was born April 1, 1920 in Attica to the late Edward (Harriet Benham) Greene. She is preceded in death by her husband Anthony Kozak who died in 1993, step son Robert Kozak and sister Ethel Greene.

Viola graduated from Attica Central School. She worked as a nursing assistant for the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw and also for the former Manor Oak in Warsaw where she retired in 1971. She was a member of the Perry Brick Presbyterian Church and the Senior Citizens Social Club through Silver Lake Meadows in Perry. She enjoyed reading, flowers, doing crossword puzzles, and spending time with family especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her children Sharon K. (James) Genduso of Perry, William E. Nichols of Batavia and Kenneth (Marie) Nichols of Warsaw; step-son Anthony Kozak Jr. of Cheektowaga; 3 granddaughters Suzanne (Graham) Vlietstra-Johnsen, Lisa Hathcox, and Jennifer (Brandon) Silverman; 5 great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday October 16 from 6-8 PM at Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main Street Perry New York 14530. Funeral Services will be held on Friday October 17 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Glenwood Cemetery in Perry.
