Doris J. Krauss

Doris J. Krauss, 87, of Perry died on Sunday November 2, 2014 at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Home in Warsaw. She was born on July 7, 1927 a daughter of the late Howard and Ruth (Bennett) Krauss. Doris a graduate of Perry Central School and was a homemaker who enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, gardening and baking and spending time with her family. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband George Krauss who died in 1988 and two brothers, Frank and Donald Gayton.

She is survived by a son Gary (Patty) Krauss of Hilton, 3 daughters; Dawn (Clyde) Lamb of Lima, Susan (Ralph) Mucher of Warsaw and Linda (Robert) Nieman of Livonia, 8 grandchildren; Anna and Jonathan Krauss, Jennifer, Meghan and Erin Lamb, Corey (Barb) Mucher, Melissa (Brent) Robertson and Robert Nieman, 2 great grandchildren; Riley Mucher and Joselyn Rivera along with several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call 4-8 pm on Wednesday November 5th at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 N. Main Street in Perry. Services will be held on Thursday November 6th at 11:00am at the funeral home. Doris will be laid to rest in Glenwood Cemetery in Perry.
