Dominic Isaiah Maksymik

By T.J. Woodward

Dominic Isaiah Maksymik, 18, of Attica passed away on Sunday November 30, 2014 suddenly due to a motor vehicle accident. He was born June 29, 1996 in Buffalo to Katherine Maksymik of Attica.

Dom was a senior at Attica High School and looked forward to graduating in June after he completed the two year Culinary Arts program at Genesee Valley BOCES which he loved and enjoyed. He also loved music, friends and most importantly, his family. He was always more interested in giving than receiving, including giving out hugs.  He was known for being a character, making everyone laugh and smile. Dom’s smile and sense of humor were very infectious. He will be dearly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Although he is gone he will never be forgotten.

He is survived by his mother Katherine of Attica, grandparents Timothy (Linda) Maksymik of Cocoa Beach, FL., Denise (Merlyn) Bissell of Bennington; aunt Hannah Maksymik of East Rochester; uncles Joshua (Michelle) Maksymik of Boswell, PA and Jonathan (Roxanne) Maksymik of Varysburg; nephews Elliott and Miles Maksymik; father Troy Winchester and many other family members.
