Earl owned and operated Attica Garage- Ford Mercury Dealership prior to retirement. He is a Untied States Army Veteran. Earl is a member of the Forest Hill Cemetery Board, and a long time member of The First Presbyterian Church. He was a former board member of the church and was also a maintenance committee member. "Don" was an original member of the Attica Drum Corps which later became the Herald Airs. He was a great father and grandfather.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Edith Krauss; daughter Beth (Robert Craft) Krauss; son Joseph (Carol) Krauss and grandsons Matthew, Andrew Craft, and Christopher Krauss.
There will be no prior calling hours. An 11:00 AM Funeral Service will be held on Saturday January 17, 2015 at The First Presbyterian Church 115 Main Street Attica, New York 14011.
