JOSEF A. YOUNG - age 49, of S. Alabama, died unexpectedly Friday January 23, 2015 at his home. He was born January 14, 1966 in Buffalo, NY to Mary (Wangler) of Corfu and the late Jack Young; also preceded in death by brothers, David and Martin.

   Joe was a Correctional Officer at the Orleans Correctional Facility. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing with his boys, a quiet man who was adored by his family and all that knew him. Joe was most proud of his boys and loved nothing more than to make the "love of his life" Lori, smile.

   Surviving along with his mother, his beloved wife of 21 years, Lori (Roth) Young of S. Alabama; devoted sons, John and Gregory both at home; siblings, Constance (James) Fritschi of N. Tonawanda, John (Tammy) Young of Niagara Falls, NY, Loretta (Alan) Kurek of Batavia, Andrew (Denise) Young of Batavia, Amy (Jack) Chmielowiec of Batavia; sisters-in-law, Dawn Young of Upper Black Eddy, PA & Christine Young of Batavia; father and mother-in-law, Robert (Virginia) Roth of N. Pembroke along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

   Joe's Family will be present from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday January 27, 2015 at the Michael S. Tomaszewki Funeral & Cremation Chapel, LLC 4120 West Main Street Road Batavia, New York 14020. The family asks you to join them 11:00 a.m. Wednesday January 28 at St. Maximillian Kolbe Parish (E. Pembroke Site) to celebrate Joe's Mass of Christian Burial. He will be laid to rest in Grand View Cemetery and memorials in his memory can be made to his family.
